Shipping and Handling & Delivery

We ship USPS:

  • First Class Mail (13 oz and under)
  • Priority Mail
  • Priority Mail Express

Normal shipping and handling time is from three to five business days after we receive your order. We strive to ship within one to two business days, however holidays, order volume, and other factors may affect this. Orders received Monday through Friday BEFORE NOON EDT are often (not always) shipped the same day depending on how busy we are. Orders received on Saturday or Sunday usually ship on Monday.

"Priority two day or three day" shipping unfortunately does not mean you will receive your order two or three days from the time you place your order.
Two or three day priority mail listed as the shipping method at checkout is the US Post Office estimated delivery time after the post office gets the package. The post office does not guarantee delivery time for priority mail. See the USPS website for more details.

If you need your part right away, we recommend you select Priority Mail Express as your shipping option. We will prioritize these orders (in addition to the faster arrival time.) Only Express Mail has guaranteed delivery time by the post office.

We also have Local Pickup available. With Local Pickup, you can buy online, then come to our store to pick up your items. This may be advantageous if you are in the area, or with large and/or heavy items. (If you choose "Local Pickup", we will not ship your item, you need to come pick it up.)

Maximum Shipping and Handling

The price shown in our shipping calculator is the maximum shipping and handling price you will be charged. Depending on the size, weight, and distance, we can sometimes combine items in a smaller box, or a USPS Flat-rate box, resulting in a lower shipping cost. We will then charge you less than the shipping and handling calculator shows when we process your order.

Blade Shipping Discount Note:

Blades are heavy. The website may charge you a shipping and handling amount greater than $30 depending on weight and distance. However, 52" and larger blades (up to nine blades) usually will be shipped in a USPS flat-rate box for a maximum shipping and handling fee of $30.00. We will only charge you this rate instead of what the website shows as your shipping and handling fee. The difference in price will be shown on your credit card or PayPal statement.

Packaging:

All items are priced individually regardless of packaging size. We are selling only one unless otherwise specified in the item title. OEM parts may be shipped without the original packaging to save on shipping costs.

Item Availability:

Our inventory is constantly updating. We do our best to keep it as accurate as possible, however we are also a brick and motor dealership. In some cases certain popular items sell out very quickly. If this happens we may not be able to update the website inventory before an order is placed. This can lead to delay while we re-order the parts. In the rare event that this happens, we will do our best to notify you of any such delays.

Privacy & Security
We will not sell your information to anyone.
 
Returns & Replacements
Un-used parts may be returned within 14 days from the original invoice date. Returns must be in resalable condition. If the part is used there is a possibility that you will not receive a refund, as we cannot sell a used item. Electrical parts are not returnable.
There is a 20% re-stocking fee.
Customer pays return shipping.
Any damage or defective items or items with do not match the item description will be replaced once the damaged item is returned to DeMott Enterprises.
If a part is damaged upon arrival:
- you must keep the package!
- take pictures of the part
- take pictures of the box or package it came in
E-mail us (store @ demottenterprises . com) the pictures of the damaged part and/or packaging. We will contact the Post Office to file a claim. After e-mailing us the pictures, call us to determine if the part needs to be returned to us for replacement.
 
Ordering
You can order on our website, or over the phone. Phone orders are subject to an additional handling fee. Orders will be shipped as soon as payment is received.
If a part is listed as "back-ordered", or if the quantity shown is listed as "0", we will pull the part from our warehouse, or order the part from the factory, and send you an e-mail letting you know the part is back-ordered. As soon as we get the part, we will ship it to you, and e-mail you again letting you know it was shipped.
Items may not be exactly as pictured. We try to have exact pictures of the items we sell, but new stock may change slightly in appearance and be shipped out before we can update pictures.
If an item is listed as "Special Order item, delayed shipping", that item is not normally kept on hand at our store. These items will take an additional day or two to come from the warehouse. You will be notified as soon as the item has shipped.
Canceled Orders:
You can cancel an order if it has not shipped. There is a 5% fee on any customer canceled order.
Missing Parts:
If your package arrives missing any parts, you must keep the package, take pictures of the package (front, back, all corners), take pictures of the contents of the package (the parts and all packing materials). You then need to e-mail us the pictures, we need them to file a claim with the post office. Call us to arrange for replacement parts.
 
Part Numbers
Buyer is responsible for looking up the correct part number and verifying that the part is the correct one for their unit. DeMott Enterprises only verifies that the part shown is the part listed is the part shipped. We will send you the part that you order.
Be aware that Country Clipper parts manuals may have a mis-print, have a part update since printing, list parts for multiple variations, etc. DeMott Enterprises is not responsible if a buyer orders a part that is not the right part for their mower.
 
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
Paypal is accepted as payment. You can use most major credit cards, which will be processed through PayPal.
You can pay with a check, but the item will not be shipped until the check has cleared after being deposited.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Prices listed on the website reflect a 10% discount for placing your order online. Orders placed via other methods may not receive this discount.
